Oregon Jury Project Overview

Oregon Jury Project Foundation

The Oregon Jury Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization overseen by the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association. The Oregon Jury Project’s mission is to educate the community at large about the civil justice system, sponsor and conduct research and to educate members of the legal profession about the civil justice system and various areas of the law.

Since its establishment in 1999, the Oregon Jury Project has worked on outreach projects such as co-sponsoring the annual Bike Helmet Project with Legacy Emanuel’s trauma nurse team and sponsoring OTLA Cares events in the community. This allows Oregon Trial Lawyers Association members to see firsthand the effects on the lives this program strives to protect.

The Oregon Jury Project is run by a board of five elected directors and receives a substantial amount of its support from members of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and the general public. Recently, The Oregon Jury Project has implemented a grant program to assist in funding projects that align with the organization’s mission to further community outreach efforts.
