About OTLA

"Dedicated to protecting people, holding wrongdoers accountable, and promoting a fair and equitable justice system through advocacy and education. "

-OTLA Mission Statement

Vision Statement:
The Oregon Trial Lawyers Association serves our members and those we are sworn to protect. We work to uphold and defend the constitution of our state and our country through fair and just laws. We fight tirelessly to protect the rights of the individual, to seek justice through open and fair courtrooms, to resist unjust laws, to support policies that hold wrongdoers accountable, to strengthen the public justice system through public education, and to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in the legal profession. We educate, train and empower lawyers in all fields of advocacy who speak for the rights of the injured or neglected, for those whose civil rights have been trampled, and victims of discrimination and retaliation in the workplace.

Our purpose: Building community as Oregon's largest plaintiffs firm and protecting access to justice.

OTLA's 1000+ attorney members and support staff represent injured consumers, patients, workers, employees and all Oregonians. OTLA provides many tools and services to help you help your clients. These include immediate access to hundreds of colleagues through the OTLA listservs, cutting-edge Continuing Legal Education seminars, advocacy work to preserve and enhance your clients’ rights at the state and federal levels, first-rate professional publications, networking opportunities and more.
