Summary

This program will focus on developing your case for pedestrian crossing injuries against a local governmental entity, including a light rail entity. It will cover the importance of gathering OSIs, locating and retaining expert witnesses, dealing with common defenses and defense discovery tactics, obtaining key admissions in expert depositions, and designing a strong focus group to assist in case evaluation.

Governmental incorporation of mass transit systems is a nationwide trend. This program will address the design, construction, and maintenance of light rail systems as well as the failure to consider known patterns of behavior that create safety issues and anticipated population growth and increased vehicular and pedestrian traffic when designing pedestrian crosswalks.
